Woongchan Cho

I'm an undergrad student at Seoul National University in South Korea.
I'm double majoring Civil engineering and AI.
Currently I'm research intern at 3D Vision lab at SNU working on quadruped locomotion advised by Young Min Kim.

Previously, I spent time in a robotics club where I developed a VR kickboard simulator. I also served a year and a half in the military as a sergeant.

Personal Goal

My dream is to develop construction robots. I believe civil engineering is one of the most underdeveloped yet crucial fields.
In Korea, the construction workforce is steadily declining, and I think robots must step in to fill this gap.

Moreover, if humanity is to build structures in space, the development of construction robots will be essential.
This is the work I truly aspire to do, and to achieve it, I am currently deeply interested in robot learning.
